Darryl's Story
Known for his incredible speed on the ice, Darryl was once praised by former Maple Leafs' Captain, Wendel Clarke, who referred to him as "the fastest man on two ankles." However, Darryl eventually decided to retire from playing hockey and pursue a career in radio. With over 30 years of experience in broadcasting, he now co-hosts the popular Morning Buzz show on 107.5 DAVE-ROCKS alongside Gayle O'Brien and Jessie David. Listeners can tune in to catch their entertaining banter and great music every weekday morning from 5:30 to 9:30.

In addition to his radio endeavours, Darryl also serves as a Pastoral Chaplain/Officiant with the Community Catholic Church of Canada, bringing his spiritual guidance and support to the community. His role has allowed him to officiate numerous weddings, contributing to the special moments of many couples.

In his downtime, Darryl enjoys indulging in some well-deserved rest, engaging in pickup hockey games, and tending to his "yard work" (which, let's be honest, involves relaxing on his deck and enjoying some fine beer). He strongly believes in giving back to the welcoming community that has embraced him and his family.
